For some reason the lyrics to “Cha Cha Slide” keep playing in my head while writing this post. “This is something new, the casper slide part two, featurin’ the platinum band, and this time were gonna get funky, funky, everybody clap your hands, clap clap clap clap clap your hands….” solely because I am sharing part II of my holiday home tour with you! And then I rhymed; yes, that just happened! Thanks D.J. Casper for bringing out the rapper in me! : )
Alright, now I can get down to business. I’m venturing into the kitchen and bathroom for part II, and will finish the tour with our master bedroom in part III tomorrow.
That server is a Marshalls find, and it’s filled with delicious, no fail holiday bark. I’ll be sharing the recipe later this week!
I found those little cement bowls at the Painted Mill (a visually overstimulating but glorious barn sale in Baltimore) : ). I knew they’d pair well with my cement utensil holder and the cement moose I also purchased at the Painted Mill. You can spot that in the first photo.
These beautiful vintage crates were $3 a piece! They are peach crates I found on a local sale page months ago. I came home with 15…eeek! Hubby wasn’t happy, but I assured him I wouldn’t keep them all and those I did would have a good purpose. I resold most of them, and the 4-5 I kept, I’ve used throughout the house throughout the year. For Christmas, I sprinkled a few under the tree to hold gifts (real and faux), and used the other 2 here.
Forgive me, friends…I should have straightened this wall! : 0
I can only take credit for the decor in this bathroom as the paint, wainscoting, and design features were already in place when we purchased the house. But boy, am I glad they were!
Hope these photos brought you a little joy today! We’ll be back tomorrow with the final part of our tour, our master bedroom. Look for the holiday bark recipe later in the week!
